Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

StackPlan is operated by Flavio Copes. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

StackPlan helps you explore deployment stacks and cost estimates for web applications. We provide recommendations based on a curated knowledge base, deterministic cost modeling, and optional AI-generated rationale. The service is provided as-is — we work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee uptime, correctness, or fitness for a particular launch.

Cost estimates are informational

Every dollar figure on StackPlan is an estimate, not a quote. Provider pricing changes, your actual usage will differ, free tiers have fine print, and regional pricing exists.Always verify costs with providers before you commit spend. We're advisors, not your cloud bill.

Accounts

You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Don't share access in ways that violate these terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service — scraping at scale, attempting to break rate limits, fraud, harassment via support channels, or anything that puts the platform or other users at risk.

Paid features

Some features require payment: the one-time Report Unlock and the Pro subscription. Prices are shown on /pricing at checkout time. Billing is handled by Polar. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

Your content

You keep ownership of app descriptions and data you submit. You grant us a license to process that data to run the service — generate reports, store saved apps, send exports you request. We don't claim ownership of your product ideas.

Acceptable use

Use StackPlan for lawful purposes. Don't probe our infrastructure, circumvent access controls, or resell raw access to the service without permission. Free tools and API endpoints may be rate-limited; respect those limits.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, StackPlan is provided without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from deployment decisions you make based on our output.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the competent courts in Italy, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country say otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted here; continued use means acceptance.
